Our upcoming run to Woodruff’s Cafe & Pie Shop will be on Saturday April 5th. We’ll depart from the Kroger lot on Rt. 460 (3970 Valley Gateway Blvd.) at 9:30 am.  Traveling Rte. 460 E. to the Bedford Visitor’s Center located next to the D-Day Memorial, right off Rte. 122, & to be there at about 10:00.  From there we’ll be taking Rte. 122, 501 & 130 to Woodruff’s Pie Shop in Elon.  Please call Woodruff’s a day or so ahead to place your “whole” pie orders (434-384-1650).  They also have a limited lunch menu.  I am proposing that after the Pie Shop visit we head toward Glasgow on Rt. 130/501, & we’ll take Rt. 684 in Glasgow & end up at Great Valley Farm Brewery & Winery.  As many of you know Great Valley is on the Hill directly across from the Pink Cadillac restaurant off of Rte. 11.  The views from Great Valley are gorgeous. Please note: There are a few picnic tables at Woodruff’s but would suggest bringing your own tables & chairs.  Please reply only if you plan to attend this Club run.  Rainy weather will cancel this ride.  Thanks & hope you ride with us.
